After being in the hobby of flying airplanes since he was 7, and nearly setting a world record with a pulse jet, Larks has decided to honor one of our own. For the first time in Larks history we have an honorary life-time member (no dues ever again for this member).
At last nights meeting it was decided to bestow this life-time membership to Bob Hannon. This was given because of his life-time of modeling, building from scratch (still active), and helping many Larks members to get their airplanes back up in the air after a crash (probably hundreds). Bob has been a member of Larks for nearly 30 years and he received this honor today. You could almost see the tears in his eyes.
Bob we thank you for everything you have done for many people over the years. We can't wait to see you at he field flying again soon!
